  • This is the delusion that someone or something familiar has been duplicated
  • It is most frequently reduplication of the subject’s home
  • The subject believes that the original and duplicate both exist independently
  • The subject is not concerned about the delusion
  • It is frequently associated with confabulation
  • It may start up to 3 years after brain insult: case report
  • The onset of the delusion may be delayed
